Diagnostic Test
2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, Part Time T/Case Control, Automatic TransSECTION Diagnostic Test
- READ AND RECORD DTCS AND ENVIRONMENTAL DATA - ERASE DTCS AND CHECK FOR DTC TO RETURN
- With the scan tool, read DTCs in all Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and record on the repair order.
- With the scan tool, run a vehicle Scan Report, or record the Environmental Data related to the DTCs.
- With the scan tool, erase all DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off for a minimum of 10.0 seconds.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data and the When Monitored Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the appropriate INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK THE RELATED TV ANTENNA CONNECTION AT THE DTV MODULE
- Turn the ignition off.
- Verify that the related TV Antenna cable and connections are secure and undamaged.
Are the connection(s) secure and undamaged?
Yes
- Go To 3
No
- Repair the connection(s) as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT RELATED TV ANTENNA AT THE DTV MODULE - ERASE DTCS AND CHECK FOR DTC TO RETURN
- Turn the ignition off.
- Disconnect and reconnect related TV Antenna connection at the DTV Module.
- Start the engine and allow it to run for 30 seconds.
- With the scan tool, read DTV DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Go To 4
No
- Perform the appropriate INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- REPLACE RELATED TV ANTENNA AND THE COAX CABLE - ERASE DTCS AND CHECK FOR DTC TO RETURN
- Turn the ignition off.
- Replace related TV Antenna and the coax cable.
- Start the engine and allow to run for 30 seconds.
- With the scan tool, read DTV DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Replace the DTV Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replacing the related TV Antenna and the coax cable corrected the condition.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
