BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)

The BCM:
- Receives hard wired input from sensors and switches
- Provides logic and output control of certain electrical systems
- Provides load shedding logic and control
- Acts as the central module for the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus
- Supports flashing (reprogramming) of itself as well as other Electronic Control Units (ECUs) on the CAN data bus networks
- Stores vehicle configuration data
