ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE

The ABS module:

  • Transmits to the ACC module the vehicle speed signal.
  • Transmits to the ACC module the compensated (offset from the raw value) longitudinal acceleration signal.
  • Transmits to the ACC module the compensated (offset from the raw value) lateral signal.
  • Transmits to the ACC module the YAW rate.
  • Receives torque request signals from the ACC module.
  • Checks the received torque request from the ACC module for plausibility.
  • Transmits the torque request, if valid, to the PCM.
  • Transmits the brake prefill status to the ACC module.
  • Receives deceleration requests from the ACC module.
  • Transmits the brake intervention type signal to the ACC module.
