  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radio. Refer to RADIO, REMOVALΒ .

  3. Disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connector and antenna connectors (1) from the Global Telematics Box Module (TBM2) (3).
  4. Remove the four screws (2) from the TBM2 that secure the TBM2 (3) to the instrument panel bracket.
  5. Remove the TBM2 (3) from the vehicle.
