- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the center floor console from the vehicle. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the wire harness connector from the connector receptacle for the Low Frequency (LF) antenna (1) beneath the front of the console.
- Remove the fasteners that secure the antenna to the bracket beneath the front of the console.
- Remove the antenna from the console.
