Steering System: Pump: Installation: 6.4L

  1. Position the power steering pump and using the holes in the pulley (2) for access, install the three pump mounting bolts (1) and tighten to 23 N.m (17 ft. lbs.).

  2. Install the pressure line (3) on the pump and tighten the nut to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
  3. Install the return hose (2) on the pump.
  4. Install the drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .

  5. Position the air inlet (3) and tighten the clamps (1).
  6. Connect the electrical connector (2).
  7. Fill and bleed the system with power steering fluid. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDUREΒ .
