Hydraulic pressure for the power steering system is provided by a belt driven power steering pump (1). The pump shaft has a pressed-on drive pulley that is belt driven by the crankshaft pulley. The 3.6L, 5.7L, and diesel use a remote power steering reservoir mounted to a bracket near the air cleaner. The 6.4L uses a reservoir attached to the pump and is not serviceable.
