The fill and drain plugs are both in the rear case.

- Raise vehicle. Ensure that the vehicle is level on the hoist.
- Position drain pan under transfer case.
- Remove fill plug (1) and drain plug (2) and drain lubricant completely.
- Install drain plug (2) and tighten plug to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
- Fill transfer case to bottom edge of fill plug opening with MOPAR® ATF+4
- Install and tighten fill plug (1) and tighten plug to 27 N.m (20 ft. lbs.).
- Lower vehicle.
