When the B-clutch is replaced, the proper selectable shim must be installed to achieve specified clearance.
Measurement (special tool #8901A, Pressing Tool) (special tool #10429, Gauge, Force)
- Place the B-clutch, with the wave plate on top, on a suitable arbor press.
- Position tools (special tool #8901A, Pressing Tool) (3) (using just the cross bar) (3) and 10429 (special tool #10429, Gauge, Force) (2) on top of the B-clutch wave plate (1) and under the press ram.
