A comparison of the Throttle Valve desired (position) and actual (position) is called the Offset. For this DTC, the PCM monitors the difference between the offset during the first drive cycle (a long-term calibration) and the first learned offset (this drive cycle). This DTC will set if the closed position or open position differences are greater than or less than a calibrated threshold. This is a two Trip Fault.
