NOTE:
If the electric fuel pump is not operating, the fuel tank must be removed and drained through the fuel pump module opening of the fuel tank.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove fuel pump module. Refer to MODULE, FUEL PUMP, REMOVAL .
- After fuel pump module has been removed, drain fuel into an approved diesel fuel draining station.
