Module, Powertrain Control: Removal: Diesel

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    NOTE:

    It is not necessary to drain the cooling system.

  2. Remove the coolant recovery bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, COOLANT RECOVERY, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) wire harness connector (1) then wire harness connector (2).

  4. Remove bolts (1) and the PCM (2).
