- Disconnect the negative battery cable.NOTE:
It is not necessary to drain the cooling system.
- Remove the coolant recovery bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, COOLANT RECOVERY, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) wire harness connector (1) then wire harness connector (2).
- Remove bolts (1) and the PCM (2).
