- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the Intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the knock sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the mounting bolt (1) and knock sensor.
