- Disconnect the negative battery cable at battery.
- Disconnect the field wire connector (2) at side of generator by pushing on connector tab.
- Remove the B+ cable output terminal mounting nut (1). Disconnect terminal from generator.
- Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the two upper generator mounting bolts (1).
- Remove the two lower generator mounting bolts (2).
- Remove the generator from the vehicle.
