Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Set Condition
The Radio Frequency Hub (RF Hub) receives and monitors the VIN messages from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and the Body Control Module (BCM). If the VIN is different from the last VIN it received, it will set this code. If the module was used on a previous vehicle, the VIN will be set to that vehicle.
Do not attempt to swap RF Hub or Body Control Modules. If a RF Hub module or a Body Control Module has been used on one vehicle, it cannot be used on another vehicle.
