The fuel pressure solenoid is attached to the rear of the fuel rail. The pressure solenoid is not a serviceable item. In the event that the fuel pressure solenoid fails, the fuel rail must be replaced. The solenoid controls and maintains constant rail pressure with a control current transmitted by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
