Diagnostic Test

2011 Jeep Compass Latitude, 2.4 B, AWD, Automatic CVT, CVT3SECTION Diagnostic Test
  1. (P238) DRIVER DOOR UNLOCK DRIVER WIRE SHORT TO GROUND

    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 connector.
    3. Measure the resistance between ground and the (P238) Driver Door Unlock Driver circuit.

      Is the resistance below 1, 000 ohms?

      Yes 

      • Repair the (P238) Driver Door Unlock Driver wire for a short to ground.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to Standard Procedure .

      No 

      • Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.
      • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to Standard Procedure .
