Instrument Panel Cover
2009 Jeep Patriot 4WD L4-2.4LSECTION Instrument Panel Cover
INSTALLATION
1. Install the lower cover to the IP structure.
2. Carefully pull the sides of the lower cover outwards and engage to the tabs (3) that hold the cover to the IP structure.
3. Install the 28 screws (4) securing the lower IP cover (1) to the instrument panel structure.
4. Install the lower shifter cable bracket under the center stack of the IP.
5. If equipped, install the navigation antenna.
6. Connect the electrical connector to the remote compass module and remote start antenna, if equipped.
7. Install the steering column from the vehicle. Steering Column - Installation.
8. Install the passenger side silencer pad.
9. Install the driver and passenger side end caps.
10. Remove the instrument cluster fasteners.
11. Connect the electrical connectors to the cluster and install to the vehicle.
12. Install the cowl trim panels.
13. Install the steering column reinforcement (1) and install the fasteners (2).
14. Install the steering column opening cover and screws.
15. Install the shifter assembly. Installation.
16. Install the center floor console. Floor Console - Installation ,
17. Install the upper IP top cover. Instrument Panel Cover - Installation.
18. Connect the battery negative cable.
