NOTE: The Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label(s) must be in place for the life of the vehicle. When replacing the component in which the VECI label is adhered, a new VECI label must also be adhered to the new component.

All models have a VECI label. Chrysler permanently attaches the label in the engine compartment. The label cannot be removed without defacing label information and destroying label.

The VECI label contains the following:

- Engine family and displacement
- Evaporative family
- Certification application
- Engine timing specifications (if adjustable)
- Idle speeds (if adjustable)

When to See a Mechanic
