INITIALIZE SUNROOF MODULE

NOTE: The temperature must be between 5°C (41°F) to 45°C (113°F) for initialization to be performed. Outside of this temperature range, an initialization will not start and if requested by a diagnostics scan tool, the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), (sometimes referred to as the Power Top control Module) sends the proper reject code.

NOTE: Vehicle voltage must be maintained between 13V - 15V during initialization.

1. Put a battery changer on the vehicle.
2. Using a scan tool, clear all codes.
3. From the scan tool, select "SUNRF" in the list of modules on the scan tool.
4. Select "More Options".
5. Select "System Tests".
6. Select "Sunroof Initialization".
7. Follow the on-screen prompts.
