2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8SECTION Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC NOTE: The Instrument Cluster performs internal tests on the Airbag Lamp during each ignition cycle.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition on.
- Wait for the Instrument Cluster to perform the bulb check.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- Replace and program the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Front Control (FCM) - Standard Procedure .
No
- Test complete.
