- Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover.
- Remove air cleaner assembly.
- Remove hose to vapor control valve (1).NOTE: Inspect the oil drain back access hole in the cylinder head cover to assure that it is free of obstruction.
- Remove the oil separator fasteners and oil separator.
