- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the left quarter trim panel from the vehicle. Refer to Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Removal .
- Disconnect the wire harness connectors (3) from the power liftgate control module (1).
- Remove the power liftgate control module (1) from the left rear wheel well (2).
- Remove the module (1) from the vehicle.
