COIL, Ignition: Removal: 5.7L

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from coil (3).
  2. Clean area at base of coil with compressed air before removal.
  3. Remove two mounting bolts (2) (note that mounting bolts are retained to coil).

  4. Carefully pull up coil (1) from valve cover.
  5. Remove coil (1) from vehicle.
