1. Remove the intake manifold Intake Manifold - Removal
2. Remove the knock sensor bolt.
3. Remove the knock sensor (1).





4. Disconnect the knock sensor wiring harness to the engine harness (1) at the rear of the intake manifold by pressing on lock tab (2).

5. Thoroughly clean the knock sensor mounting hole.
