  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the driver airbag, refer to REMOVAL .
  3. Using a trim stick (special tool # C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry the switch and bezel assembly (3) away from the steering wheel at the inner retaining tab (1) and the outer bezel edge (2).
  4. With the switch and bezel assembly free from the steering wheel lift the assembly up and disconnect the switch electrical connector.

  5. Using a trim stick (special tool # C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry the switch bezel retainers (2) away from the switch tabs (1) while applying pressure to the back side of the switch. Remove the switch from the bezel.
