Fuel Delivery System

2008 Jeep Compass Limited, FWD, StandardSECTION Fuel Delivery System

The fuel tank is made of plastic and is located near the rear center of the vehicle.

The Fuel Delivery System consists of the following items:

  1. Electric fuel pump module
  2. Fuel filter
  3. Tubes/lines/hoses
  4. Fuel injectors

The in-tank fuel pump module contains the fuel pump. The pump is serviced as part of the fuel pump module. Refer to MODULE - FUEL PUMP  - Gas or FUEL PUMP MODULE  - Diesel .

The fuel filter is not serviceable, it is mounted on the inside of the fuel tank in the fuel pump module.
