Removal - 3.0L Diesel
2008 Jeep Commander Overland, 4WDSECTION Removal - 3.0L Diesel
- Perform the Fuel Pressure Release procedure.
- Disconnect the Negative Battery Cable.
- Remove the Engine Cover.
- Remove the Air Filter Housing and Intake Tube.
- Remove the Engine Cover Support Brace.
- Remove the Turbocharger Intercooler Tube.
- Remove the Lower Turbocharger Intercooler Flex Hose.
- Position the Vacuum Pump aside.
- Disconnect the EGR Airflow Valve and IAT harness connectors.
- Disconnect the EGR Tube from the Charge Air Crossover Manifold, located upstream of the Intake Manifolds.
- Remove the IAT Sensor Housing Bracket bolts and Bracket.
- Remove the Fuel Line Support.
- Remove the IAT Sensor Housing retaining bolts and remove the IAT Sensor Housing.
- Remove the EGR Airflow Valve bolts.
- Remove the EGR Airflow Valve.
