- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the left intake manifold. Refer to appropriate Engine SERVICE INFORMATION article.
- Remove the 2 upper EGR cooler bolts (1).
- Remove the 4 front EGR cooler retaining bolts (1) and EGR cooler (2).
