Deployed Air Bag Module
Any vehicle which is to be returned to use after an air bag deployment, must have both air bag modules and clockspring replaced. See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULEΒ , PASSENGER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE, and CLOCKSPRING under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. These components will be damaged or weakened as a result of air bag deployment and are not intended for reuse. Other vehicle components should be closely inspected and replaced as necessary.
