Test 42B - Diagnosing Door Ajar Circuit (Side Door)

1994 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, Automatic, 32RHSECTION Test 42B - Diagnosing Door Ajar Circuit (Side Door)
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATIONΒ  . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article in this section.
  1. Disconnect jumper wire (if connected). Gain access to Natural Body Control Module (BCM) connector. BCM is located behind center console. Go to next step.
  2. Connect a jumper wire between side door ajar sense circuit (Tan/Yellow wire) at Natural BCM connector terminal No. 3 and ground. If DRB displays SIDE DR AJAR:CLOSED, repair open in Tan/Yellow wire. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  . If DRB does not display SIDE DR AJAR:CLOSED, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1BΒ  .
