Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect double connector from switch pigtail, then connect 12 volts to either terminal.
2. Connect test lamp between other terminal and a good ground.
3. Test lamp should illuminate when brake pedal is at rest.
4. Test lamp should go off when brake pedal is depressed approximately 3/8 inch.
5. If test lamp does not respond as specified, stop lamp switch is out of adjustment or defective. Adjust or replace as needed.
