To properly test throttle body fuel injection system, service technician must have the following equipment available:

  • Digital volt-ohmmeter (DVOM) or volt-ohmmeter with minimum input impedance of one megaohm.
  • 12-volt test light, jumper wires and probes.
  • Hand vacuum pump with gauge.
  • Ignition timing light.

When to See a Mechanic
