- Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature. Stop engine and connect clamp of Tachometer Set (J-33300-200) to No. 1 cylinder injection pipe. Attach alligator clip to ground. Install magnetic pick-up probe into TDC access slot. See Fig 1.NOTE: To ease placement of probe in TDC access slot, it may be necessary to cut away a small portion of plastic shield underneath pump.
