Seats - Power: Description
Jeep power seats can be adjusted 6 ways. The control switch is located on the left lower side of the driver's seat.
The switch has 3 levers. The middle lever raises or lowers the complete seat, as well as moving it forward or rearward. The 2 side levers raise or lower the front and back of the seat.
A permanent magnet reversible motor is connected by cables to rack and pinion assemblies located in the seat tracks. The circuit is protected by a 30-amp circuit breaker on the fuse block.
