Reference Pressure Regulator

1986 Jeep Cherokee Base, 2D Utility, 2.8 W, RWD, AutomaticSECTION Reference Pressure Regulator

Install "T" fitting at connection "A". See Fig 1. Connect a vacuum gauge to "T" fitting. Start and run engine at idle. Note vacuum reading. Compare reading with specification, and replace pressure regulator if vacuum reading is incorrect. See ALTITUDE COMPENSATED VACUUMΒ  table.
