ISSUE

Jaguar Land Rover Service Diagnostics has become aware of a bug in DVD127 that prevents SDD from correctly setting CCF parameters to support the installation of some accessories and/or personalization settings.

Retailer techs have reported via EPQR that the following "Add/remove accessories" functions within SDD are not actually making the required CCF settings when using DVD127.

  • Daytime Running Lights
  • Trailer Module

While no related EPQRs have been submitted, other similarly managed functions on SDD susceptible to this bug may include the following Add/remove accessories options:

Content

  • Tire Size (rolling circumference)
  • Mirror personalisation features
  • Parking aid control module.
  • Select Language

CAUSE

CCF edits managed in the background of these processes are not functioning as required.

SOLUTION

Jaguar Land Rover Service Diagnostics has identified the root cause of this issue and a fix is expected to be released on a future patch for DVD127.

In the interim, technicians that require support to enable/set CCF settings affected by this bug must contact the Jaguar Land Rover Technical HelpLine for instructions and access to single shot engineering menus within SDD.
