NOTE:
This DTC can only be cleared following an ignition OFF/ON cycle after rectification. Attempts to clear without cycling the ignition will result in the DTC reflagging 3-4 seconds after clearing. DTC P1260 can be flagged as a result of a time-out situation within the security system. If the engine cranks with P1260 flagged, clear the code and recheck the DTCs.
