Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Possible Causes
The Systems Readiness Test is accessed from the PDU menu structure. PDU will report if any portion of the Systems Readiness Test has not been completed. The following less frequently performed test are identified as incomplete:
- Module $11 (identifies EMS ECM).
- Catalyst.
- O2 sensor.
- O2 sensor heaters.
Further confirmation of the System Readiness Test status is available by retrieving the stored DTCs. If DTC P1000 is set in memory, the on-board diagnostic tests have not been completed. If DTC P1111 is set in memory, all on-board diagnostic tests have been completed.
