- Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1).
- Depress the fuel level sensor retaining tabs (2) to release the sensor from the sender assembly.
- Remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) and sensor (2) from the fuel sender assembly.
