2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly ReplacementΒ .
  2. Fig 1: Fuel Level Sensor

  3. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Depress the fuel level sensor retaining tabs (2) to release the sensor from the sender assembly.

  6. Remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) and sensor (2) from the fuel sender assembly.
