- Raise the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Suspension.
- Remove the front hub and bearing assembly. Refer toWheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) or Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) in Suspension.
- Remove the retaining bolts for the splash shield.
- Remove the splash shield.
