  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer toLifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer toTire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Suspension.
  3. Remove the front hub and bearing assembly. Refer toWheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) or Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) in Suspension.
  4. Remove the retaining bolts for the splash shield.
  5. Remove the splash shield.
