2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (2) to the ECM. Reposition the ECM out of the way.
- Remove the battery shield from over the battery.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Install the ECM to the retainer.
- Position the ECM and retainer to the top of the battery shield.
- Slide the ECM retainer rearward, engaging the retainer to the battery shield.
- Reprogram the PCM. Refer to Control Module References .
