- Push the theft deterrent module (2), onto the lock cylinder housing (1).
- Install the theft deterrent wiring harness to the steering column harness.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Replace the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
- Program the new theft control module. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
