- Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement .
- Push down the fuel level sensor pigtail electrical connector retainer (1) and remove the connector from the module cover.
- Remove the fuel level sensor pigtail wires from behind the retainer (2) on the bucket.
- Push in the fuel level sensor retainer (1) on the bucket.
