If there are less than four keyless entry transmitters programmed to the vehicle, an individual fob transmitter can be added. This method will not erase previously programmed transmitters from memory.
- Close the lift gate.
- Ignition ON, access the scan tool Liftgate Module Setup menu and select Program Individual Key Fob.
- Select "Program additional Key Fob" on the scan tool.
- Follow the scan tool on screen instructions in order to program the transmitter.
- Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
