2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the radio to the I/P.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the radio.
  3. Connect the radio antenna cable to the radio.
  4. Position the radio rear alignment locator (1) into the I/P substrate.
  5. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Install the 3 screws that retain the radio to the I/P.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement (Chevrolet) or Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement (GMC) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (GMC) .
  8. Install the lower closeout/insulator panel (GMC only). Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement (GMC/Chevrolet) .
  9. If a replacement radio is installed, setup the radio. Refer to Control Module References .
