2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Assembly Procedure

  1. Inspect the alignment mark between the differential bearing adjuster and the differential carrier assembly case. If the line between the differential bearing adjuster and the differential carrier assembly case is not aligned, re-align the 2 components as necessary.

  3. Install the left side inner shaft seal using the J 45225Β  (2) and the J 8092Β  (1). See Special ToolsΒ .

  5. Install the right side inner shaft seal using the J 45225Β  (2) and the J 8092Β  (1). See Special ToolsΒ .
  6. Install the drain plug.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the drain plug to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).

  7. Install the fill plug.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the fill plug to 32 N.m (24 lb ft).
