Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the stabilizer shaft link from the lower control arm. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ .
- Remove the lower control arm from the bracket. Refer to Lower Control Arm ReplacementΒ .
IMPORTANT:
In the following step, it is NOT necessary to completely remove the lower control arm from the vehicle. Allow the lower control arm to remain attached to the knuckle assembly.
