2006 Isuzu Ascender S, 5.3 M, 4WDSECTION Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Do NOT swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock®, and "XM Theftlock®" will display.
  1. Lower the right closeout insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Fig 1: Electrical Connector & Receiver

  3. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

  5. Remove the antenna electrical connector (1) from the receiver.

  7. Remove the nuts retaining the receiver to the insulator panel.
  8. Remove the receiver from the vehicle.
