IMPORTANT:
If the SDM has DTC B0092 or DTC B0098 stored as current, you must address those DTCs before continuing with this diagnostic procedure.
- With a scan tool, check for DTC B0092 or DTC B0098 is a current DTC.
- If the PPS has been replaced then DTC B1530 will automatically be cleared. If the PPS was repaired and DTC B1530 is set as current, the SDM will have to be replaced.
- Replace the SDM. Refer to Repair Instructions .
